  10. Memorize Psalm 139:1-8.

“O Lord, you have searched me and you know me.
You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.

You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.
Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O Lord.

You hem me in—behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.”

Are you in the habit of setting weekly/monthly goals? If you do, how did you do last month? If you don’t, how do you keep track of things you need to get done?

  1. Yeh …. I am the first to like this. Sheena, love the way you discipline yourself – you have no idea how much this level of bible study is going to help you in the future, in your personal life, family life and ministry.

  2. You’re inspiring Sheena ! Every time I see the ‘goal post’ I am reminded of my To-Do lists. Wanted to check with you though, what kind of books you read to the kids ? I have been on the look out for some good titles for their age( Jo is turning 5 in dec )

    1. Thank you 🙂 ! I’ve found I get more done when I have these monthly goals and break it down into weekly goals that fit into my To-Do lists.. Our boys turn 5 in December too. We read their children’s Bible, a few Bible story booklets and lots of Kindle books (using Kindle app for PC). Freehomeschooldeals.com posts free Kindle books everyday, and I download the ebooks I think the kids may enjoy. They are usually related to numbers, alphabets, animals, vehicles, sight words and simple stories.
